Josep Wameru Home School
Expanding Opportunities (EO) is a non-profit organization that facilitates numerous aid projects in Kenya. Most of EO's efforts are aimed towards maintaining and expanding the Joseph Waweru Home School; an orphanage in the Nakuru district of Kenya. Our other programs include: an artisan support project called Aina Moja, a micro-loan project called Success Through Education, Money and Support, or STEMS, and a feeding program for street kids in Kericho, Kenya. Amazing Grace Children's Home
Our work in Africa started in 2000, when we were invited to the Anglican Diocese of Maseno South, by Rev Abuto Ogacho and his wife Clarice, to observe the situation and offer ways to help. Once we arrived in Kisumu, we spent time visiting schools, churches, villages and homes. We soon realized the terrible toll AIDS was taking on the Kenyan people and the entire continent of Africa. We knew that God was calling us to action. We began to pray for God to show us how He wanted us to help. God answered our prayers by breaking our hearts for the orphans of Kenya. Upon our return to the US, we formed Orphan Relief Effort, Inc. (a 501c3) and began to offer orphans for sponsorship. We have taken other trips to Kenya and our hearts continue to be with the orphans. In 2004, we purchased land in Awasi, Kenya and began to build the orphanage called Amazing Grace Children’s Home. It is scheduled to open in late December 2005. We have also been involved with other projects in the local area, including improving school buildings, setting up scholarship funds, building churches and teaching Vacation Bible School Continent: Africa Country: Kenya

Mabadiliko Care
This idea was born on February 2004 and began operating in April 2004 while first registered as Mabadiliko Care Kenya Self-Help Group Reg. Number SS/MSA/CD/SH/O4/311 with the Ministry of Social Services of the Government of Kenya. Right now we are logging in our registration with the National NGO Coordinating Bureau to be ready in October 2005.
Our main aim is to bring about a society without poverty in which every person can be independent and excercise his or her right to a life of dignity and to the respect of human life.
We offer excellent services to children in our center. Mostly our focus is charity-based, especially our services to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in our society like orphaned, less privileged and disadvantaged children, youths (on behavioural change), widows, and the elderly

Tumaini Ministries
The Tumaini story began in 2002, when one woman in Denver, Colorado, Eunice Kariuki, accepted the challenge to do something about a great sadness in her homeland.
Eunice had left Kenya to come to the US seventeen years earlier a move many Kenyans dream of making. Then Eunice began to hear news of a great sadness at home. The global AIDS crisis, combined with the poverty Kenyans had struggled against for many years, was threatening to overwhelm much of the African continent. Of course, she couldn't turn back the tide on this massive crisis. But Eunice believed that she could and increasingly believed that she must do something for some of its victims. "I realized that I could not not do anything," Eunice explains.
"I had to do something."
After months of prayer and study, Eunice sensed that God was calling her to return to Kenya to start an orphanage yet, not an orphanage: rather, a home for children who have become orphans. Continent: Africa Country: Kenya

Victorious Outreach Ministries
Victorious Outreach Ministries is a Christ Centered evangelistic outreach ministry that is committed to serving Jesus in His 'great commission' to go ye to every nation and preach the Gospel!
We are a non-denominational ministry that works with any Christ Centered churches who are interested in Missions.
We offer many opportunities for service for anyone who knows that they have been called by the Lord to serve Him. We believe that the Holy Spirit is the One who we need to follow. For that reason we do not require a certain 'degree' or experience level for the mission field. We believe that it is our job in the 'leadership' of this ministry staff to pray, seek the Lord, and hear from Him, while reviewing the requests of potential missionaries who wish to serve in His work. We have solid biblical guidelines that are required. Continent: Africa Country: Kenya
