Baghdad on Monday launched a tough new initiative to force the fast growing number of beggars off busy streets and into new social programmes.

The plan aims to remove the huge proliferation of street-beggars, many of them children, in the Iraqi capital in the wake of the 2003 US-led invasion that sparked job losses among many of the city's seven million residents

Russian officials are considering to stopping to United States, despite the numerous children who wait in russian orphanages and hospitals.
