Its been a while since we updated the blog. After a great hurdle, we got the girls into a school. Most of the schools in and around where we live did not want to take the girls in because the girls did not know English and kannada ( state language) and also had no birth certificates. Most of the girls were born at home in their villages and were not registered with the government. And the parents / guardians had no clue about the birth dates. It took us several weeks to get their names registered with the government. We finally got their birth certificates.
