Bouncing aroung the web today I came across several diifferent different posts of people that want to help orphans but don't know how to get started. Came across a Yahoo group filled with people with a heart to help but lacked the knowledge of where to start. It was both encouraging and depressing at the same time. There are so many orphanages in the world and yet so few people willing to share how to go about the process of starting one. Yes money is an issue in orphan care but not the only issue. To me it seems better to have 100 small orphanages with 10 or 15 children in each then it would be to have 1 orphanage of a 1000 at least that will be better for the children.

So with everything else we've decided to try to start gathering together information about starting orphanages recruiting volenteers, adoption and anything and everything else orphan related. In the end this effort might help to improve more lives and more children then our single orphanage could have by it's self.
