Ways anyone can help

  • Adopt- This isn't for everyone but is it for you? The best way to help the orphans of the world is to bring one into your life and home.
  • Tell others- keep up with the orphan news from this site and others and talk about it with your friends and family. Remind them that there are children that need help.
  • Write to your government officials. Many countries like India have combersome laws that prevent overseas or even in country adoption. Many contries have policies preventing contact between two countries these restrictions must be removed in order for others to get in and help.
  • Ask your politicians at election time about the declining international adoption rates and how they plan to encourage more citizens to help.
  • Write to orphanages and care providers ask about the conditions at the orphanage, over crowding, food supplies. Let us know what they say so we can post it to the site.
  • There is a lot of corruption and misstreatment a lot of Non profits setup For Profit. If you have an orphanage you've visited write up a review and send it to us. If your planning on traveling overseas make it a point to find an orphanage in the area and drop in for a visit.
  • Feed and talk with the kids in your own area. You can't always tell a homeless child from a regular child get to know the children around you help them if you can.
  • Check for a local foster care provider in your area that might appreciate some help. Even in the most developed countries in the world there are homeless and forgotten children living in the shadows reaching out to them may be as easy as looking for them.

I am a student from a school in Dubai and we're organizing a charity carnival at our school. As part of the fund-raising program we'd like to invite a group of children from an orphanage and sponsor their visit to our carnival, with free tickets and other perks. But I cannot seem to find an orphanage here in Dubai or even the UAE. If anybody can help me in this regard, can u please contact me on bushra118@hotmail.com We would further like to contribute to orphanages in the country, so any information would be very helpful. Dear Friend, This is an effort to introduce you to our service to the oppressed, depressed and deprived orphan girls. Our orphan home is located in Youhanabad, Lahore and province of Punjab, Pakistan. Our N.G.O is called ‘’Orphan care Organization’’, providing love, care and education through rendering 2 services: Orphanage is called Abba Home and Abraham School. The service to the vulnerable began with just 1 girl in 2005.The number also has remarkable increased to 25 orphan girls of the age group of 4-12 years during 5 years period. Over the years our services for the physical and mental both growth and development have improved. This is being achieved by nutritious food and education for life. We live in a rented house. That too adds to the burden of the expense. May be one day we could own a home for our orphan girls. We try to provide to these orphans, the care that average parents can give. We can provide more and more services with your kind help and donations in whatever w
